The aim of this project is the synthesis of poor (Al-In) and transition(Mn,Co,Fe,Cr)
co-doped titania via a modified sol-gel method. The 0.04, 0.1, 0.2, 1 wt % co-doped
TiO

nanoparticles were calcinated at 400
o
C and 700
o
C. They were structurally
characterized by XRD, were optically characterized by UV–Vis reflectance
spectroscopy and their morphological characterization was became with SEM
method. The results show the influence of dopant, dopant concentration and calcination
temperature. The photocatalytic activity of the samples was tested at the degradation
of10ppm Methylen Blue by UV and Visible light. The sample with 0.04(0.02:0.02)
wt% Al:Mn dopant concentration at 700
o
C presents the best photocatalytic results
with ~ 90%degradation of Methylen Blue by UV light after 2h and Visible light after
3h.
